    Germinal Italia was established in Brescia

    The company sells the best quality natural foods, in order to offer an alternative, both in content and in ethos, to the mass-market range of food products industrial made.

  • 1981

    Castelfranco Veneto: Il Mangiarsano was established

    As the name itself suggests (Il Mangiarsano means healthy-eating), the company focused on healthy bakery products.

  • 90s

    One of the leading brands of the organic market

    Germinal was one of the leading brands of the organic market. Its commercial offer had grown steadily through the years and it included products from all the main food market categories.

  • 2001

    Il Mangiarsano opened the current facility

    The new plant allowed Il Mangiarsano to set two modern production lines, to achieve the most important certifications, and to strengthen its national and European leadership in the organic, healthy and functional sweet bakery products market.

    1st January 2008

    Il Mangiarsano took over Germinal Italia

    From the merger of these two historic companies belonging to the bakery industry, MangiarsanoGerminal Group was founded.

  • 2013

    The group took over “Zizzola srl”

    The MangiarsanoGerminal Group took over “Zizzola srl”, a confectionery company with more than ninety years’ history. A new production line was purchased for processing flakes and cereals.

  • 2014

    A new production line was purchased for processing flakes and cereals.

  • 2015

    MangiarsanoGerminal Group starts a collaboration with a company known in the organic and vegan industrial deli and increases its commercial offer with fresh products.

  • 2016

    A new production line was placed. It allows the production of savoury bakery products which are organic, vegan and gluten free. New production technologies and bigger productive capacity.

They provide for high production volumes, exceptional versatility, production flexibility and products that meet even the most demanding quality standards.
